Technical Specifications

  • Fixed Carbon: 70 – 80%
  • Volatile Matter: 10 – 15%
  • Moisture Content: 5 – 8% (should be kept low for better burning)
  • Ash Content: 2 – 5% (very low compared to wood charcoal, which often has 8 – 12%)
  • Calorific Value (Heating Value): ~7,000 – 7,500 kcal/kg
  • Bulk Density: 550 – 600 kg/m³

Process

  • Charcoal is cooled and sieved (to remove dust/fines).
  • Packed into bags/cartons/jumbo bags.
  • Palletized (optional, depending on customer) or floor-loaded into container.
  • Container lined with kraft paper or plastic sheets (to prevent contamination & moisture).
  • Sealed and shipped by sea freight.

Cardboard Box Packaging

  • Small inner boxes (e.g., 1 kg, 2 kg) → then packed into master cartons (10 kg, 20 kg).
